The other day we visited a photo exhibition called World Press Photo 11 held at Amsterdam's Oude Kerk, the oldest church of Amsterdam. The collection consists of the most interesting and shocking images from the 2010's news events and also works as a photo competition honoring the most intriguing images. For me the exhibition was a round-up of all the news events which I remembered having read from the newspaper but also an eye opener of many current events which I never even heard about. It is unbelievable that certain news simply stays unheard despite the big death toll of human lives. So if you will be visiting Amsterdam or live in Holland, I can highly recommend to drop a visit.
